Obituary of Gordon Stanley Wright

Gordon Stanley Wright was born in Cereal, Alberta on March 29, 1945. He unexpectedly passed away in Hanna, AB on March 3, 2022. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Irene Wright. Gordon is survived by his children, Marvella, Marilyn, Carmen and Kerry; grandchildren Dallas, Raylee, Taryn, Cassidy, Tyler, Erica and Kayne; one sister Phyllis (Norman) Peterson. Gordon was raised on the family farm in the Helmsdale area and attended Helmsdale school. He spent many years working on the oil rigs before returning home to the farm. After leaving the farm he moved to Oyen to be with his parents. After their passing he moved to the Lodge in Hanna and then on to the Manor where he enjoyed his time visiting with the other residents over a cup of coffee. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
