I have many fond and funny memories of Gordie over the years. He had a heart bigger than the Alberta prairies. He was always willing to lend a hand and really wanting nothing in return. He talked often and was proud of his years spent in the oil field,he really enjoyed those years. His sense of of humor was second to none,he always had answer for you that would get a chuckle.I always enjoyed going to his branding at his ranch south of Cereal, even though he always had awfully big calves.Gordie also had an amazing eye for horses,he loved going to horse sales and had many good quality horses on his ranch. He had a great sense of humor he will definitely be missed and thought of often . Rest easy my friend

RIP Gordon. Maybe you'll see Benji there as well as one of the Winquist boys , or your speckled chicken you gave me and ate at my house
Now we won't have to call you a taxi. Take care roads runner. Look for Benji he'll be waiting for you at the gate wagging his stumpy tail

Goodies was a kind hearted person with children, friends and neighbors. He was one of the funniest when he was trying to sell Phyllis a vacuum, trying to convince Brenda her calf had her ears and tail, or trying to explain how he drove over bingo until he wagged his tail. He had a soft heart that he tried not to show. Sleep well my friend you will be missed.
