My name is Teresa and I'm a friend of Eva's. Unfortunately I never got the chance to meet her parents but every time Eva came back home from Alberta I would ask her about her visit or she would show me videos and pictures of how much fun they had visiting the farm. Many memories forEva and her family to cherish for ever. My prayers go out to Eva and her brothers and their families

I only recall meeting Alberta and Edward in person once, at my brother Philip’s wedding, which took place on a cold January day in Oyen. But we often heard about events on the farm and in the community. Alberta remembered us too- I still have a newspaper clipping she kindly mailed to me containing pictures of her granddaughter’s achievements. So many memories to cherish from a life well lived. May those memories bring peace to all her family.

I remember spending many hours with Alberta at the basement of the hospital residence and also at her family’s farm. Such a kind wonderful lady. I also remember the many hours she spent picking up garbage and bottles to keep our town looking beautiful. Such a lovely lady . Many fond memories. Sincere condolences to the family.
