Dear Booker Family,
Our condolences to all of you in the loss of your Mother & Grandmother. We are sorry that we could not attend, please know our hearts, love and hugs are with you during this time of such significant loss. As you will remember Dean & I stayed for a number of summers while Mom & Dad would travel to the different summer camps. We always enjoyed our times of play, driving you all crazy (Rick my apologies :)) and yes doing some work! We played pranks like sticking cockroaches in peoples beds (you all know who I mean :)) for which Mom Booker gave straight and stern talks, which did us good :)) Mom Booker's great cooking, kindnesses significantly outstayed the stern talks. When we caught the itch from swimming in the damn she was also a fine nurse :))
We will all miss your Mom - Grandmother very much. Her smiles, encouragement and real / straight talk was always appreciated. We also miss all of you and hope one day we can reconnect.
All of our love,
Kirk & Ruth

What a truly beautiful lady. She always welcome a crew of us young people to their farm, and we had the best time hanging out and eating lots of delicious food. She always made everyone feel like part of the family & made each and everyone of us feel special. Thank you for that- You will be missed!!!

Growing up in Acadia Valley I always enjoyed a visit with Auntie Margaret and Uncle Ken. They made me feel so welcome and so loved and treated me just like one of their own. So many wonderful memories. Love you so much.

I work in food services at the hospital and it was always a pleasure to see and serve Margaret. She loved her liver and her face would light up and a big smile when she got her favorite meal there. I took in a knitted shawl and muff for her hands and we sat and reminisced about her knitting projects and how she loved to knit. I will miss her beautiful smile and how sweet she was. A lovely lady and I am so glad I got to meet her.
