Ladislas Drouin

Obituary of Ladislas Julien Drouin

It is with great sadness, that the family of Ladislas Julien Drouin announce his sudden passing at the age of 70 in Chinook Alberta. Ladislas was born in Cornwall Ontario. Dear son of the late Jean Marie Drouin and Marie Jeanne Mondoux. Cherished father of Joel and grandfather to Shaunece and Jordan. After finishing school, he spent many years working as a carpenter. He also worked for Coca-Cola. Eventually, the west was calling his name. He put his roots down in the small hamlet of Chinook. Here he continued his carpentry work and had a love of cars, as seen looking throughout his yard. Ladislas was a quiet man, but everyone who knew him have only kind words to say about him. Ladislas is survived by his sisters Madeleine Deruchie (Richard) and Helen Dukas. He is predeceased by his brother Raoul Drouin and sisters Therese Drouin, Dolores Drouin, Marielle Taylor and Francoise Johnson. As per his wishes, there will be no service. As expression of sympathy, memorial donations to be directed to a prevention of cruelty to animals charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me” Remember the best times, The laughter, the song The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you. Keep smiling and surely The sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, My soul is at rest. Remembering all, How I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, No matter how small. Go on with your life, Don’t worry about falls I miss you all dearly, So keep up your chin Until the day comes We’re together again.
