Obituary of George Elmint Lee

George Elmint Lee was born on June 25th, 1952 to Mary and Elmer Lee in Saskatchewan. George had 6 brothers and 2 sisters. George grew up in different towns and cities throughout Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Alberta.

 

His first marriage to Lavon Lee, they had a daughter Georgina Lee, he also had 3 stepsons: Bill, Pete, Keith and a step-daughter Christine. George and Lavon separated. 

 

In late 1992, George met Tamie through her dad, they became friends, eventually began dating in 1993 and moved in together. Tamie had 2 sons P.J and Corey, so George became a stepdad for the second time. In Nov 1993 they had a son Brandon.

 

George was a great husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.  George was a hard worker, he had lots of knowledge about cars, trucks, tractors. He could do plumbing, electrical, gas, welding, drywall, taping, painting and framing. George could fix just about anything.

 

He loved camping, fishing, watching old t.v. shows, western movies. He also liked old time gospel music. George also liked his pepsi, coffee and salt.

 

George was predeceased by his mother Mary Baumgardner, Father Elmer Lee, son Brandon Lee, sister Kathy Pankiw, brothers Roger Baumgardner, Jim, John and Ed Lee. brother-in-law Bill Pankiw, sister-in-law Elaine Lee and stepson Bill Young and father-in-law Carl Penney.

 

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Tamie Penney, sons; P.J and Corey Loran. Daughters-in-law Jacqueline Brownlee, Char Moeller, grandchildren; Cordell Lee, Nathen Loran, Lucian Lee, Athena Lee and Felix Culligan, brother Bob (Marty) Baumgardner, sister Carol (Allan) Shermack. Mother-in-law Judy Penney, sisters-in-law Nancy (Allen) Jesske, Rose Simons, Tanya (Matt) Davis, brother-in-law Eric Ward. Daughter Georgegina Lee and his first wife Lavon Lee.

 

Also cherishing his memories are his adopted son Craighton Thuroo, Katy Bryans and her family, Kyla and her family as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.

 

George may you rest in peace.
